About Tennismarts

Tanz Avatar 400

Hey this is Tanz, the voice behind Tennismarts. If there is one word that I would use to describe my relation with Tennis, it is Fascination. I have been following this simple yet enthralling game for over 35 years now and the fascination just seems to grow. From the days of Borg-McEnroe-Connors through Lendl-Becker-Edberg and then with Sampras-Agassi-Courier and now to Federer-Nadal-Djokovic, it has been really fun following the game. The great rivalries, the various styles and tactics that have evolved over the years, the superhuman levels in training and fitness to the ever increasing role of technology in the gear, equipments & facilities, the game has come a long way.

The Idea of Tennismarts is to be a SMART Resource for Tennis Players

Student..Not a Guru!

I am not a professional player or a coach of any repute; but what I do have is a keen and an observant eye that has witnessed the transformation of the game over the last 4 decades. The idea behind Tennismarts is to be a SMART resource for tennis players of all kinds – from a beginner to a master, young and old, amateur or pro. You would find honest reviews and recommendations on racquets, tennis balls, shoes, other gear and accessories and so on which I’m sure would be genuinely helpful in your Tennis journey. You would find interesting insights about the game and its rich history and tradition as well.

How I Create Content

The content on this site is fully researched, planned and edited by myself to ensure that we maintain the highest quality standards. The site doesn’t use freelance writers or content providers which I believe takes away the authenticity a bit, though no offence to the talented writers 🙂

Though the reviews of the items listed on the site may not be from first hand experience, I spend a lot of time on extensive online feedback from customers and vendors. We are not backed by brand sponsorships and so you can trust the information presented here to make smart tennis decisions.

Wish you good luck and have fun along the way..

Cheers
